Sponsor a Village-Level Bio-Pot Production Unit
A CSR-ready intervention that converts local biomass and livestock-derived resources into biodegradable alternatives to plastic nursery bags while creating women-led rural micro-enterprises.
Plastic Reduction. Rural Livelihoods. Circular Economy.
Mahaya Bio Organics is establishing decentralized bio-pot production units across rural Maharashtra. Each unit is designed to convert locally available biomass and slurry into biodegradable planting vessels for nurseries, plantation drives, institutions and greening initiatives.
Waste-to-Wealth
Local organic and livestock-derived resources are converted into useful biodegradable products instead of remaining underutilized waste streams.
Plastic Replacement
Bhravima™ biodegradable planting vessels offer a practical alternative to conventional plastic nursery bags and grow bags.
Rural Livelihoods
Each production unit can support trained women operators and create a pathway for women-led rural micro-enterprises.
A simple village-level production workflow.
A typical decentralized production unit comprises a dewatering machine, biomass mixing machine, hydraulic pot-making machine, mould sets, and basic drying, storage and packaging infrastructure.
Production Challenge
Excess moisture in slurry and biomass-based raw material affects product strength, drying, shape retention and handling performance.
Proposed Solution
Dewatering, mixing and hydraulic forming improve material consistency, reduce defects and enable reliable village-level production of biodegradable alternatives to plastic nursery bags.
Fund a complete unit or sponsor individual components.
The model gives CSR partners flexibility to support a complete micro-enterprise unit, individual equipment, or women livelihood support.
